In cooperation with our Ukraine partners we maintain an electronic register where we collect information about war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by Russian troops in Ukraine.
At the current stage of warfare the main goal is to identify the perpetrators and document their actions by collecting the testimonies of victims and witnesses.
After the final defeat of Russian troops and their withdrawal from Ukraine time will come to settle accounts and judge each of the criminals and to charge Russia with war reparations for Ukraine. On March 16, 2022, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal stated during a press briefing with the heads of government of Poland, Czech Republic and Slovenia that the estimated amount of war losses in Ukraine has reached $565 billion.
